Here are the answers to some of the most common questions that people ask me. If you have any other questions, please feel free to get in touch.

How many photos do you take in a session?

I take between 100 to 300 photos during the standard shoot and we review the shots as we go along, to make sure we are both happy with the results.

What happens if the session time is not enough?

I never rush a shoot nor do clock watching. On the contrary, I limit the amount of bookings I take in order to give you the time and attention you need.

I am very nervous, camera shy, and hate having my photograph taken. Will a session work for me?

Most people are shy in front of the camera. It is my job to make sure you are relaxed and that your confidence is captured by the camera. Please see my testimonials for some feedback and how my clients felt during the photoshoot.

I am not photogenic and worry about how I will look in the photos

I don’t believe in “photogenic.” We all have different looks, bone structure and facial imperfections. It is my job to find the right angle and use tricks to make you look as good as you are, if not better!

None of your packages are what I am looking for. What can you do about it?

If none of my packages are what you need, please get in touch with me to discuss your needs and I can help by creating a bespoke package for you.

What should I wear?

Something that you know suits you and that you enjoy wearing. Bringing a range of different clothes to change into can help to enrich the experience and bring out the best results. I would avoid strong patterns and stick to solid colours as we wouldn’t want any unnecessary distraction.

 

I have a cold sore or a big spot on the day of the shoot. Should I rearrange?

There is no need to rearrange, blemishes can easily be removed on Photoshop.

How can I pay?

The payment can me made by cash or credit card on the day of the session or bank transfer before the session.

REFUNDS?

If somehow you are not happy with the results, I will offer a full re-shoot free of charge. I do not under any circumstances offer a fee refund. (Please note that nobody has ever asked for a re-shoot or refund.) 

Can I cancel?

If you need to cancel or re-schedule please do this at least 48 hours before the agreed time. Otherwise there will be a cancellation fee.

Do you take portraits/headshots on location?

Yes, I do. I can take your headshot/portrait in your office or workspace, bringing my lighting or even setting up a studio.

I also work on location outdoors, using both natural daylight and my professional lighting equipment. 

Can I get unedited images?

I do not give unedited images as they are unfinished and are not representative of my work. I aim to offer you images that show you at your best. If you would like to order any more images within 2 years of the photoshoot, I can edit them for you for £15 per edit/retouch.

Is there parking at your studio?

There is. My studio is located on a free parking street and you are very welcome to park your car anywhere available on the street.

who holds the COPYRIGHTs?

Where commercial or editorial photography has been commissioned, the client and the photographer agree that copyright is retained by Onur Pinar Photography unless otherwise agreed in writing. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t use or need to pay an extra fee to use your photos on social media or on your personal website. Please contact if you need further information.

What is included in the retouching?

I include free, natural retouching of contrast, tone, blemishes, stray hairs, under eye bags etc. I do not overly retouch or air brush as the image needs to be an honest representation of you.

Are there indoor facilities at your studio?

Yes, toilet, kitchen and somewhere private to change.

What are your turnaround times?

Retouched images are available within 1-4 working days. If you have an tight deadline, please let me know.
